I got involved in the study because I’ve heard how dangerous RSV can be for babies from some friends and family. Having the chance to be a part of something that helps to reduce the likelihood of a baby getting RSV felt very rewarding to me.
My cholesterol can be somewhat elevated at times and since this study was for a cholesterol test I thought I’d give it a try. My job allows me to be available for these and I believe it helps The Iowa Clinic stay on the cutting edge of research in all aspects of heart health.
When we were asked to be a part of the RSV study through the Iowa Clinic, I was a little bit apprehensive, but after speaking with Darcie and the Iowa Clinic team I felt reassured that this was something I wanted to be a part of.
